Assessment criteria

This course is a discussion seminar; its participants share responsibility for its functioning. It assumes:
1. Students enrolled in this course will prepare a PP presentation of the results of a study described in a scientific paper. These presentations are to be descriptions of a study (introduction, hypotheses, methods, results, discussion) as well as contain a critical analysis of the study and its results. Presenters should also prepare topics for discussion for the group. The order and the topics of presentations will be assigned randomly during the first class. (max. 10 points)
2. Taking part in discussions and classroom activities.
3. Regular attendance. (missing 1 class session allowed)
To meet the requirements, a student has to get at least 6 points for the presentation. Scale: points to grade: 0-5: 2; 6: 3; 7: 3.5; 8: 4; 9: 4.5; 10: 5.
