Learning outcomes - knowledge
(in Polish) After the course student:
knows fundamental processes of structural and functional brain development (K_W03, K_W14)
- understands the role of stimulation provided by the social and physical environment in course of brain development
- is able to explain atypical and abnormal development in terms of developmental trajectories of neural system
- understands the deficits that can arise from abnormal brain development or be caused by damage at an early age
- is familiar with classification of neurodevelopmental disorders
- possesses knowledge about the main areas of neuropsychological diagnosis and therapy of the child and their challenges.

Learning outcomes - skills
(in Polish) Student:
- is able to study and critically evaluate research papers in English from the area of developmental neuropsychology
- is able to communicate acquired knowledge of functional brain development in English.

(in Polish) Student:
- participates in discussion and is open to share his/her knowledge with other students
- is aware psychological, medical and social issues related to dysfunctions of central nervous system in children and adolescents
- presents an attitude of tolerance towards patients with neuropsychological disorLearnders and their families.
