Civic engagement 2400-OG-EN-CE
Through direct involvement in voluntary work within social institutions or NGOs (e.g. community centers, schools, social welfare offices, cultural organizations), students develop practical skills in social action, teamwork, empathy, and ethical reflection.
The course combines theoretical understanding of civil society and active citizenship with hands-on experience in community-based initiatives.

W1: Define and explain key concepts: civic engagement, social participation, volunteering, civil society.
W2: Identify major social institutions and NGOs in Poland and their modes of operation.
