Learning outcomes - knowledge
(in Polish) Student knows:
W1: the basic concepts of general pathophysiology in the field of cardiovascular, digestive and genitourinary disorders, retrograde changes, progressive changes, acute and chronic inflammations, and invasive and non-invasive cancers. A_W6
W2: interprets and argues selected issues in the field of organ pathology of the circulatory system (ischemic heart disease, atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction), respiratory system (bronchial asthma, COPD), digestive (ulcerative disease Crohne disease, GERD), urogenital (acute kidney damage, chronic renal failure) and nervous system. A_W7.
W3: lists and interprets external and internal pathogens including biological, chemical, physical as well as genetic, modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors (age, sex, race, body weight, physical activity) affecting the development of diseases. A_W8.
Learning outcomes - skills
(in Polish) Student is able to:
U1: estimate the risk of disease development and manifestation as well as changes in the functioning of the body, expressed in specific clinical symptoms (chest pain, fatigue, weakness, oliguria, nocturia, headaches, exercise intolerance), based on the principles of inheritance and the impact of modifiable and non-modifiable environmental factors, intrinsic and extrinsic. A.U3.
