Learning outcomes - knowledge
(in Polish) Student knows:
W1: risk and health threatening factors in patients in various age (D.W1)
W2: etiology, pathogenesis, symptoms, diagnosis, course, treatment and prognosis in selected internal diseases, such as: circulatory system (heart, blood vessels), respiratory system, nervous system, digestive system (stomach, intestines, large glands), liver, pancreas, system urinary tract (kidneys and bladder), osteoarticular system, muscles, endocrine system and blood (D.W2; D.W3)
W3. clinical basis for nursing of patients with chosen internal diseases (D.W2)
W4: basic diagnostic tools and examinations, the rules of their ordering and interpretation (D.W4).
W5: the rules of patient preparation to various examinations and diagnostic tests, including personalization depending on patient’s age and health condition, (D.W5).
W6: the basic principles for main medicines recommendation among patients with internal medicine diseases (D.W6).
W7: basic in clinical examination concerning evaluation of the risk related to hospitalization and methods for its reduction (D.W7).
W8: how to manage patient’s reaction for hospitalization in internal medicine ward (D.W8).
W9: basics in organization of nursing and care of patients with internal diseases (D.W10)
