Learning outcomes - knowledge
(in Polish) Student:
W1: has basic knowledge of parasites classification (A.W17)
W2: possesses knowledge concerning pathogenesis of infestation and its harmful effect on human’s health (A.W17, A.W18)
W3: is acquainted with the rules of infestation prevention (A.W18)
W4: is familiar with diagnosis of respective parasitoses presented in people (A.W18)
W5: enumerates the basic symptoms of particular parasitoses (A.W17, A.W18)
W6: possesses a knowledge concerning methods of parasitoses treatment (A.W17, A.W18)
Learning outcomes - skills
(in Polish) Student:
U1: is able to recognize respective parasites on the base of their body constitution, life cycle and symptomatology (A.U6)
U2: is capable of taking the sample of diagnostic material and its transportation (A.U6)
U3: describes the epidemiology of respective parasites (A.U6)
U4: can analyze pathophysiology, incubation period and symptomatology of respective parasites (A.U6.)
U5: has basic skills in prevention of infestation and treatment of parasitoses (A.U6)
U6: uses in practice the diagnostic methods used in infestation suspicion (A.U6)
U7. recognizes the most prevalent parasites (A.U6)
Learning outcomes - social competencies
(in Polish) Student:
K1: understands the significance of infestations for public and individuals’ health (K.05)
K2: understands the need for consultation (K.05)
K3: is sensitive to own limitations in all procedures associated with diagnosis and treatment of parasites infestation (K.07).
