Learning outcomes - knowledge
(in Polish) W1 – The student knows the basic concepts, laws and mechanisms of human genetics (molecular basis of the structure and functioning of genetic information); explains and illustrates, using examples, the principles of inheritance of a different number of traits, inheritance of quantitative traits, independent inheritance of traits, lists the principles of inheritance of extranuclear genetic information (A.W12.)
W2 – Student describes the genetic determinants of human blood groups and serological conflict in the RH system and main groups (A.W9)
W3 – Student knows the structure of chromosomes and the molecular basis of mutagenesis (A.W11)
W4 – The student knows the issues of genetically determined diseases (A.W10)
Learning outcomes - skills
(in Polish) U1 – The student classifies genetic diseases according to the method of inheritance and assesses the risk of disease manifestation based on the principles of inheritance and the influence of environmental factors (A.U3)
U2 – Student uses knowledge about genetically determined diseases in disease prevention (A.U4)

(in Polish) K1 – Student notices and recognizes his own limitations in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences and self-assesses educational deficits and needs
