(in Polish) C.W32. the concept and principles of conducting a physical examination and documenting it;
C.W33. methods and techniques of comprehensive physical examination;
C.W34. the importance of the results of the subjective and physical examination in formulating the assessment of the patient's health condition for the needs of nursing care;
C.W35. methods of conducting a physical examination using IT or communication systems;
C.W40. methods, tools and techniques of data acquisition;
Learning outcomes - skills
(in Polish) C.U2. collect information by interview, observation, measurement, physical examination, and documentation analysis in order to recognize the patient's health condition and formulate a nursing diagnosis;
C.U43. conduct a physical examination of the patient, analyze and interpret its results;
C.U44. recognize and interpret the basic differences in examining a child and an adult, including the elderly;
C.U45. use physical examination techniques to assess the physiological and pathological functions of the skin, senses, head, chest, mammary glands, abdominal cavity, genitals, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, peripheral circulatory system, musculoskeletal system, and nervous system and document the results physical examination and use it to assess the patient's health status;
C.U46. conduct a comprehensive subjective and objective examination of the patient, document the examination results and analyze them for the purposes of nursing care;
C.U47. conduct a physical examination using IT or communication systems;
Learning outcomes - social competencies
(in Polish) 1) being guided by the patient's good, respecting the dignity and autonomy of people entrusted to care, showing understanding for ideological and cultural differences and empathy in the relationship with the patient and his family;
2) respecting patient’s rights;
3) independent and reliable performance of the profession in accordance with ethical principles, including compliance with moral values and obligations in patient care;
4) bearing responsibility for professional activities performed;
5) seeking the opinion of experts in case of difficulties in solving the problem on your own;
6) anticipating and taking into account factors influencing one's own and the patient's reactions;
7) noticing and recognizing one's own limitations in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences, and self-assessing educational deficits and needs.

(in Polish) Informative and problem-based lecture, seminar, exercises, film, demonstration with discussion, algorithmic and situational method, simulation method using phantoms, self-education

(in Polish) The subject concerns the ability to assess the patient's health condition by using physical and subjective examination techniques
