Basics of Physiotherapy: Biological Rejuvenation
1855-F4-OB-SJ
The subject is conducted in the form of lectures and exercises.
Lectures
The lecture topics include concepts and definitions in the field of biological regeneration, the history of SPA and WELLNESS, the concept of regeneration in sports training. The student will deepen their knowledge in the field of fatigue physiology. During the lectures, the concept of overtraining syndrome will also be discussed.
Exercises
The aim of the exercises is to familiarize students with the basics of planning and implementing biological regeneration. The student will learn the systematics of biological regeneration methods and the principles of using selected biological regeneration methods. They will become familiar with various types of treatments offered by SPA/Wellness centers, including floating, hyperbaric treatments, aromatherapy, mental training. Issues related to biological regeneration planning will be discussed based on current literature reviews.
