W1: etiology, pathomechanism, symptoms and course of musculoskeletal dysfunctions in the field of: orthopedics and traumatology, sports medicine, rheumatology, neurology and neurosurgery as well as paediatrics, child neurology, to the extent enabling the rational use of physiotherapy measures - DW1
W2: principles of diagnosis and general principles and methods of treatment of the most common dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system in the field of: orthopedics and traumatology, sports medicine, rheumatology, neurology, neurosurgery and paediatrics, child neurology, to the extent enabling the rational use of physiotherapy measures - D.W2

Learning outcomes - skills
(in Polish) Can:
U1: conduct a clinical assessment of body posture, including a Bunnell scoliometer examination, as well as point and biostereometric assessment of body posture, as well as interpret the results of these assessments - D.U22
U2: based on an X-ray of the spine, determine the Cobb angle and rotation angle according to one of the adopted assessment methods, assess bone age based on the Risser test and interpret their results and, on this basis, qualify scoliosis for appropriate physiotherapy treatment - D.U23
U3: plan, select - depending on the clinical and functional condition of the patient - and conduct physiotherapy treatment in children and adolescents with diseases of the musculoskeletal system, such as: congenital defects, body posture defects, avascular bone necrosis - D.U24
U4: plan, select – depending on the patient's clinical and functional condition – and conduct pre- and postoperative treatment in children undergoing surgery - D.U25
U5: plan, select - depending on the clinical and functional condition of the patient - and conduct physiotherapeutic treatment in children and adolescents with movement disorders of central origin, cerebral palsy, spinal dysraphism, neuromuscular diseases, and perinatal damage to plexuses and peripheral nerves , with neuro- and myogenic muscle atrophy (muscular atrophy and dystrophy) – D.U26
U6: instruct children's guardians in the so-called physical care, and children and their caregivers in the scope of performing exercises at home, how to use medical devices and the use of everyday objects for therapeutic purposes - D.U27
U7: plan and select cardiopulmonary exercises for children and adolescents - depending on the clinical and functional condition of the patient - and instruct caregivers of children and adolescents in performing these exercises - D.U43
