Learning outcomes - knowledge
(in Polish) D.W3 - etiology, pathomechanism, symptoms and course of the most common diseases in the field of: cardiology and cardiac surgery, pulmonology, surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, geriatrics, psychiatry, intensive care, oncology and palliative medicine, to the extent that allows rational use of physiotherapy agents
D.W4 - principles of diagnosis and general principles and methods of treatment in the most common diseases in the field of: cardiology and cardiac surgery, pulmonology, surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, geriatrics, psychiatry, intensive care, oncology and palliative medicine, to the extent that allows rational use of physiotherapy agents
D.W8 - results of exercise tests in cardiac and pulmonary physiotherapy (test on bicycle ergometer, treadmill, walking tests, spiroregometric test), NYHA (New York Heart Association) heart failure scale and MET metabolic equivalent values
D.W9 - general principles of subjective and objective pulmonary examination for the needs of physiotherapy, major additional and auxiliary studies and functional tests, useful in the qualification and monitoring of respiratory physiotherapy

Learning outcomes - skills
(in Polish) D.U33 - perform functional tests of the respiratory system, including spirometry and interpret the results of spirometry test, exercise test and blood gas test
D.U34 - plan, select – depending on the clinical and functional condition of the patient – and perform exercises in various respiratory diseases (acute and chronic), in diseases with a predominance of restrictive disorders and in diseases with a predominance of obstructive disorders
D.U35 - perform treatments in the field of respiratory physiotherapy in various pulmonary diseases, conditions after chest injury, conditions after chest surgery and after lung transplants
D.U36 - instruct a patient with respiratory disease in the field of exercises at home and the use of secondary prevention measures
D.U39 - apply the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF)
D.U47 - apply the principles of proper communication with the patient and communicate with other members of the therapeutic team
