Clinical Basics of Physiotherapy: Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology 1855-F2-NA-SJ
- https://moodle.umk.pl/course/view.php?id= (term 2024/25)
Classes conducted in the form of lectures and exercises. The subject of the lectures are issues related to the neuroanatomy and neurophysiology of the human body, with particular emphasis on the neuroanatomy and neurophysiology of the pyramidal and extrapyramidal systems and the neurophysiological mechanisms of movement control. During classes, students acquire practical skills using modern methods, i.e. virtual programs for learning neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, interactive animations or clinical devices. Additionally, teaching tools such as:
- trials or physiological tests on a living person,
- practical skills cards,
- medical simulations at the Center for Medical Simulations.
Conducting classes in human neuroanatomy and neurophysiology in the conditions of a medical simulation enables comprehensive improvement of basic skills in the field of clinical neuroanatomy with neurophysiology and teaches the basics of clinical reasoning.
