University's Exclusive Courses: Basics of Occupational Therapy 1855-F1-PTZ-SJ
Lectures
Students will learn about the possibilities of using occupational therapy methods and techniques in working with different audiences: children, the elderly and patients with physical and/ or intellectual disabilities. They will learn about the historical features and development of occupational therapy in the world and Poland, as well as its scope, objectives and examples of practice models, the role of occupational therapist. They will learn to distinguish between methods, techniques and forms of occupational therapy.
Trainings
As part of the trainings, students use selected techniques of occupational therapy in practice, with a particular focus on art therapy and ergotherapy.
