General Sciences: Legal Basis of Physiotherapist's Practice 1855-F1-PPRZWF-SJ
The course begins with an explanation of polish legal system, sources of law and main institutions such as National Health Fund and Social Insurance Institution. The course also focuses on Polish and European legal solutions in the field of healthcare. The student will be introduced to the legal texts concerning physiotherapy and the healthcare system in Poland and European Union and also to the social and health insurance benefits issues. The subject also focuses on being physiotherapist in Poland, meaning of regulated profession and health care structure in Poland. The course also sets out the organisation and tasks of the governing organisation of physiotherapists as well as the rights and duties of its membership.
