Developing students' skills in: formulating thoughts, discussions, concise and accurate analysis of problems, critical use of literature (also in a foreign language) and other sources of information. Developing public speaking skills and convincing argumentation. Substantive assistance in writing a diploma thesis and preparing for the diploma exam

Learning outcomes - knowledge
W1: Has knowledge of intellectual property law in the preparation of scientific papers and reports on public health (K_W31)
W2: Has knowledge of the principles of constructing and writing reports and scientific papers and using sources of scientific information (K_W27, K_W33)

U1: Can produce clear and detailed oral and written statements (in native and foreign languages) to a wide extent, as well as explain their position on issues that are the subject of scientific discussion (K_U23)
U2: Uses a foreign language - understands the meaning of the main threads of the message contained in complex texts on scientific topics related to public health (in accordance with the requirements specified for level B2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) (K_U24)
