Cutaneous Oncology 1700-KII2-ONKSKORY-2
Classes are held in the form of classes and lectures. Classes are held in groups at the bedside and in the studios and dermatological clinic. Lectures are conducted in the form of a multimedia presentation with discussion on the topic. Presented during the lectures cases of skin cancers are then presented as far as possible during exercises on examples of patients. In terms of skin oncology students get acquainted with the material of the following topics: carcinogeneza in the skin, the mechanisms of photoaging, precancerous lesions, the most common skin cancers, melanoma malignum, lymphomas of the skin, new methods of treatment of skin cancers. The student is required to manage complete information about latest news in field of dermatology with use of current publications available in libraries and internet.

Learning outcomes
The student has knowledge of photoaging and carcinogenezy and methods of prevention. Student knows how to diagnosed skin cancer, knows their etiopathogenesis, differential diagnosis and latest treatment methods. Students can use their expertise in cosmetic surgery.
Assessment criteria
The condition for passing the subject "cutaneous Oncology" is participation in LAB lectures and exercises.
The following classes are assessed on each LAB exercise: preparation for classes and activity during classes.
Completion of LAB exercises takes place on the last day of classes in the oral form and is carried out by an academic teacher running classes.
The exam consists of a theoretical part in writing / a one-choice test consisting of 30 questions with 5 answers, of which only 1 is correct and 4 are incorrect. The duration of the test exam is 40 minutes.
