Assessment criteria
The final mark in the subject of Orthopaedics is a weighted average of the following ratings:
A. Continuous evaluation (the current preparation for classes and the activity). Max. number of points – 0-4pts.; > 50%; K1 – K6;
B. Practical test according to orthopaedic physical examination. Max. number of points – 0-20pts.; > 60%; W3-W4; U1 - U4;
C. Exit test with the assistant. Max. number of points – 0-16pkt.; >60% W1 – W6; U1 - U8;
D. The final test exam in module. Max. number of points – 0-60pts. >60% W1 – W6; U1 - U8;
The condition to be admitted to the examination is achieved 24 points during classes of Orthopaedics (points A, B and C) and also achieved the credit of other subjects in module.
The weighted average is calculated according to the equation:
Final credit mark = (A + B + C + 3*D) / 2,2
Credit >60%
The obtained percentage of the grade forming a credit in Orthopedics will be the basis for calculating the common grade for the entire module, described in the regulations of the Module of Musculoskeletal Diseases.
The continuous evaluation of the activity during classes of Orthopaedics will be influence by:
- presentation of the clinical topic
-and the student's attitude to obligation put on during the classes of orthopaedics.
For credit the Orthopedics course, it is necessary to obtain min 60 points.
