Elective Course: Elements of Tuberculosis Diagnostics and Treatment

The seminar is a practical form of student's study. In terms of this unit, the student acquires the ability to thoroughly investigate the history of patients and physical examination, and interprets additional research as microbiological, radiological and laboratory tests. Particular emphasis is placed on epidemiology, diagnostics and treatment of tuberculosis.
During the workshop, the student gets acquainted with individual, interesting cases of specific patients suffering from tuberculosis - a case study. Analyzes the whole history of the disease, starting from the anamnesis, through physical examination, analysis of additional tests, differential diagnosis, final diagnosis and the proposed treatment.

W6. understands the problem of drug resistance, including MDRT (E K_W39)
