Psychiatric Problems of a Modern Man 1655-Lek3WYBPSY-J
Seminaries provide practical skills on how to recognise stressful situations, which may change mental health of contemporary people. Also, knowledge about occupational burnout (reasons, results, diagnosis and treatment) is included. During tutorials (interviews with patients) students will be presented with the results of stressful situations, occupational burnout, and suicidal risk. Also, future plans of psychiatric care will be presented.

1. Study hours involving teacher participation:

- attendance in seminaries: 15 hours

Learning outcomes - knowledge
E.W.1. presents the main conceptions of pathogenesis of metal disorders (E K_W15).
E.W2. presents the causes, the general symptomatology of mental disorders ,principles of diagnosis and the principles of their classification according to the main classification systems (EK_W16)
E.W3. describes the symptoms of mental disorders in patients with somatic diseases and their impact on the course of the underlying disease and treatment (EK_W20)
