W1: The current epidemiological situation of tropical parasitic infections (C.W13)
W2: The forms or developmental stages of selected parasitic protozoa, helminths, and arthropods that are invasive to humans, taking into account their geographic range of occurrence (C.W16)
W3: Basic disease symptoms important in the differential diagnosis of parasitoses (C.W17)
W4: Basics of modern parasitological diagnostics (C.W19)

U2: Differentiates the most common human parasitoses based on clinical cases discussed (C.U7)

Prerequisites
(in Polish) A student starting education in the subject "Parasites in medical practice - from theory to diagnosis: practical aspects of diagnostics" should have knowledge of invertebrate biology at the secondary school level (extended level of the Matura exam in biology) and solid knowledge of the obligatory subject "Parasitology".
