Histology
1655-Lek12HISTO-J
The lectures are aimed to acquaint of students with the current state of knowledge in the field of histology.
The aim of the tutorials is to deepen and supplement the knowledge presented in the lectures through active participation in the discussion on a given issue. During the exercises, the student also learns to recognize histological slides.

Learning outcomes - knowledge
Learning outcomes: knowledge W1: Uses the histological nomenclature (A.W1)
W2: Describes the functional specializations of cell structures characteristic for tissues and organs (A.W2)
W3: Discusses the microarchitecture of tissues and organs (A.W3)
Learning outcomes - skills
U1: Correctly operates an optical microscope, also using oil immersion techniques (A.U1)
U2: Recognizes structures corresponding to organs, tissues and cells in light microscope images (A.U2)
Learning outcomes - social competencies
K1: Is aware of one's own limitations and the need for constant education (K_K05)
K2: Consciously uses objective sources of information, including scientific articles and databases (K_K07)
