2.4. Gynaecology of Puberty and Menopause 1600-LekM5PWMGID-NJ

During the course "Gynecology of puberty and menopause" students take part in a seminar and exercises.
During the classes, students can analyze the results of hormonal tests, assess the degree of sexual maturation based on images. Students participate in diagnosis and treatment in the form of joint case studies.

Total student workload

Hours requiring the teacher's presence: - exercises - 2 hours, - seminars - 4 hours; Hours requiring individual student work: - preparation for classes and exam - 2 hours, - reading literature - 2 hours, Total 10 hours (0.4 ECTS)

Learning outcomes - knowledge

The student knows: W1: has knowledge related to female reproductive functions, their disorders as well as diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, in particular in the field of: 1) the menstrual cycle and its disorders, 2) menopause (F.W9)

The student is able to: E.U10. assess the stage of sexual maturation; E.U16. plan diagnostic, therapeutic and prophylactic procedures;

Student: K1: has the ability to accept responsibility related to decisions made as part of professional activity, including their own and others' safety (K.K02) K2: has the ability to respect medical confidentiality and other rights of the patient (K.K05) K3: has the ability to implement the principles of a vocational college and to cooperate in a team of specialists, including representatives of other medical professions, also in a multicultural and multinational environment (K.K06) K4: has the ability to recognize and recognize their own limitations and self-assessment of educational deficits and needs (K.K07)

Correction exam:
Depending on the size of the improving group - the form of credit in the form of a test or an oral form.
The head of the Clinic decides about the final form of the make-up exam.
