Preparation to LEK Examination - Gynaecology

During the seminar, students will systematize their knowledge in the field of:
1. Practical obstetrics
2. Basics of perinatology
3. Oncological gynecology
4. Gynecological endocrinology
5. Urogynecology
6. Other gynecological diseases
During the classes, tasks from previous editions of LEK are solved together.
Total student workload

Learning outcomes - knowledge
The student knows:
W1 female reproductive functions, related disorders and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, in particular:
1) pregnancy,
2) physiological and pathological childbirth and puerperium,
3) basic methods of diagnostics and gynecological and obstetric procedures; (F.W9.)
4) basic methods of fetal diagnosis and therapy;
L 2: has knowledge about the reproductive functions of a woman

L 3: has knowledge about disorders of reproductive functions
(FK-W09)
W 4: has knowledge about the menstrual cycle and
and its disorders (FK -W09)
W 5: has knowledge about the conduct of physiological pregnancy
(FK-W09)
W 6: has knowledge about physiological childbirth (FK -W09)
W7 has knowledge about the pathology of childbirth (FK -W09)
W 8: has knowledge about genital cancers
(FK-W09)
W9 has knowledge about diagnostic procedures and
therapy in the field of cancer of the reproductive organs

L 10: has knowledge about contraception (FK -W09)
L 11: has knowledge of the general principles of replacement therapy
during menopause (FK -W09)
W 12: has knowledge of basic gin procedures.

Prerequisites
The student should have the knowledge required for the exam conducted in the 5th year, covering physiological and pathological childbirth. Selected issues in the pathology of pregnancy, anatomy, physiology and diseases of the reproductive organs - conducting the diagnostic and therapeutic process.

Credit without a grade - is based on the presence of students and activity at the seminar.
