Elective Course: Zumba Fitness
1600-Lek4ZF89-J
Zumba® Fitness is based on the principles of interval and aerobic training (cardio), therefore it has a positive effect on cardiovascular and respiratory efficiency and increases calorie consumption. These classes perfectly strengthen the body and make the figure slimmer. The combination of dance and fitness training improves the overall efficiency of the body, and also shapes motor memory and coordination. No dancing skills are required to participate in the classes. The hot rhythms and the fun atmosphere accompanying the exercises help students reduce stress levels and relieve tension and energy accumulated during lectures.
Classes begin with a warm-up, based on the basic steps of aerobics (step touch, step out, V-step, heel back, squat, etc.). However, the main part of the classes is dancing. Students gradually master the choreography of Zumba® Fitness dance rhythms such as salsa, cumbia, merengue, reggaeton, soca, bachata, bhangra, dembow, and more. Classes end with elements of stretching and relaxation, the so-called cooldown, performed to the rhythm of quiet music.
