Term 2022/23:
The main objective of elective classes in physical education is to develop general physical fitness. 1. Body shaping exercises, body shaping. Course content: The student will gain knowledge and skills on the theory of physical exercises in order to maintain fitness at any age. The student knows the types and nature of exercises that have a positive impact on physical development and improvement of motor skills. Knows the basic forms and principles of motor training with the use of free weights, strength machines, generally available equipment and accessories at home, e.g. Theraband balls and gums. During classes, students use heart rate monitors (sport tester) to learn and understand what loads the circulatory system is subjected to during exercise. 2. Self-defense techniques in contact with an aggressive patient Item content: The student will gain knowledge and skills on the principles and techniques of self-defense. Familiarizing students with places particularly sensitive to pressure or impact. Falls and flips. Defense against opponent's grabs and grapples. Defense against suffocation. Freeing the neck from the "tie" grip. Defense against hair grabs. Incapacitating and transport holds. Throws and defensive holds. Shaping the motor skills of students such as: strength, speed, endurance, flexibility. Strengthening postural muscles. Shaping strength in the training circuit. Exercises to strengthen and stretch individual muscle groups. 3. Shaping group activities and managing human teams using sports team games Course content: The student will gain knowledge and skills on teamwork. Shaping and developing leaders in group activities, creating competition, cooperation in groups. Fair play - implementing the principle. Practical knowledge of the rules of sports games. Creating conflict situations and ways of solving them. 4. Movement activities shaping the efficiency of the circulatory system Contents of the course: The student will gain knowledge and skills on the principles of training shaping physical performance. The aim of the classes is also to strengthen the body's efficiency through training with varying degrees of intensity. Classes will be held on spinning bikes and in the gym in the form of a cross-fit circuit. During classes, students use heart rate monitors (sport tester) to learn and understand what loads the circulatory system is subjected to during exercise. 5. Modern forms of physical activity with the use of TRX, THERABAND, BODY BALL SPINING, STRECHING, CROSS-FIT, NORDIC WALKING, YOGA. Course content: The student will gain knowledge and skills on modern forms of physical activity. The aim of the classes is to strengthen the body's mobility through training with modern exercise equipment. Classes will be held in the gym or outdoors in a modern form on special devices and accessories such as: trx, theraband, body ball, spinning, stretching, cross-fit, nordic walking, yoga. During classes, students use heart rate monitors (sport tester) to learn and understand what loads the body is subjected to during exercise. 6. Corrective and compensatory exercises preventing the deepening of body posture defects and correct posture as the main element of caring for a healthy spine. Course content: The student will gain knowledge about the most common body posture defects in children and adults and will be able to recognize and select appropriate corrective and compensatory exercises. The aim of the classes is to familiarize with the basic principles that apply to back pain, through the selection of exercises stretching individual muscle parts responsible for a given posture defect. During the classes, students will learn about modern methods of preventing the deepening of spine, knee and foot defects and will find out what non-standard tools and devices help during breathing exercises, back and buttocks exercises, abdominal muscles exercises, exercises correcting the pelvic position, anti-gravity exercises. Students learn preventive, safe and effective exercises to strengthen the paraspinal muscles. The effect of the exercises is the correct posture and upright figure. The spine is the main axis and support of the body, and it is supported by the back muscles, which are involved in all motor activities, especially in the standing position. The effect of these classes is the prevention and removal of back pain through the use of carefully selected strengthening, stretching, mobilizing and balancing exercises. 7. Health - Related Fitness and gymnastic and dance forms in all components of physical fitness. Course content: The student will gain knowledge about gymnastic and dance forms, which are currently one of the most popular types of physical recreation focused on health. The use of cardioae exercises.
