Drawing (workshop) 1402-PRY-2L-SJ
The aim of teaching this subject is to stimulate the student's curiosity and the ability to perceive the human figure and the ability to formulate an artistic expression of high technological, technical and artistic value.
The Drawing subject is carried out in the form of exercises.
The basic topic is the figure (model) in a study, naturalistic and conceptual perspective.
Each exercise is preceded by a short lecture introducing the student to a specific issue.
Students do sketches and studies from nature and keep a compulsory sketchbook that serves as a personal encyclopedia of sketches and conceptual work aid.
Basic issues:
- form, solid, shape, line, stain, plane
- open, closed, static and dynamic composition
- value, chiaroscuro
- the illusion of space on a plane
- texture, structure
- human body anatomy
- dynamic, static, simplified and complex drawing
Techniques:
- pencil, graphite
