Specialist Graduate Seminar 1401-SemDyp-AW-3Z-S1
The subject DIRECTIONAL DIPLOMA SEMINAR is conducted in the form of a seminar and consists of individual cooperation of the graduate with the supervisor (and supporting supervisor) selected by him/her on the development of an artistic and design concept of a chosen topic.
The analytical and design diploma thesis combines issues from various disciplines and fields of knowledge (architecture, interior design, graphics, painting, sculpture, industrial design, furniture). It concerns the entire developed space and/or elements of its equipment (both in the interiors of buildings and urban interiors). The topic may also include issues related to the way humans function in space - the place of work, recreation, rest, etc. and the problems of adapting historical space to new purposes while respecting the value of cultural heritage.
The diploma is a response to a clearly formulated idea. The design work is preceded by a deep analysis of the topic, carried out by searching for inspiration and appropriate functional and material solutions.
Depending on the topic, the diploma thesis is presented in the form of rigid boards in the format of 100x70 cm or in the form of objects or models and with the help of a multimedia presentation. The defense is an open show.
