1)The emergence of public competition law, a place of competition law in the legal system, the development of antitrust law in Poland, 2h
2) the concept of the entrepreneur and the relevant market as as the key to the application of antitrust law, methods of determining the relevant market, 4h
3) competition-restricting agreements and prohibition of their conclusion, subdivision agreements, types of agreements, leniency, hard-core restrictions, the exemptions from the prohibition of restrictive agreements, individual and block exemptions, 6h
4) the concept of a dominant position, the criteria for determining dominance, exclusionary practices the concept and its importance for assessing the market power, the notion of exclusionary practices, and its importance for the assessment of market behavior entrepreneurs, non-abuse of dominant position, the types of abusive practices, the relationship between named practitices and the general clause, the expression of predatory pricing, violations of first-and second-line, objective justification. 4h
5) basic rules of conduct in matters of restrictive agreements, decisions in antitrust cases, 1h.
6) the concept of concentration, the notification of a concentration, the exemption from the notification of a concentration, decisions on the concentration of entrepreneurs, 4h
7) organization and responsibilities of the President Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, county (city) consumer advocate, 2h
8) the concept of the collective interests of consumers, the types of practices infringing collective consumer interests, financial penalties for breaches of the Act on competition and consumer protection, 3h
9) the concept of state aid, the conditions under which public assistance for prohibited / permitted, the role of President of the OCCP in proceedings in matters of range of public aid, control and return of state aid. 1h

Learning outcomes
Students will acquire knowledge about the organization of the competition and consumer protection;
Students will learn basic concepts of public use of competition law;
Students will analyze what activities businesses are contrary to the rules of competition;
students become familiar with the register of abusive clauses and contractual practices infringing collective consumer interests;
students become familiar with the basic principles of conduct in antitrust cases
Students learn the basic rules for granting state aid
