Polish Economic Criminal Law 1300-POL_ECON-KPP

Lecture contains general presentation of Polish criminal law and specifics of economic crime and detailed discussion of the following issues:
Fraud
Corruption
Insider Dealing
Money Laundering
Organized Crime
Shadow economy
Criminal Liability of Legal Persons
Human Trafficking

Total student workload

- participation in lectures – 20 hrs - preparation before exam (familiarizing with materials delivered by the lecturer (power point/prezi presentations), as well as literature; analysis of provisions of Polish Criminal Code and other statutes regarding economic crime)

W1: has knowledge about basic institutions of criminal law regarding economic crime - K_W04 W2: knows subjects of economic crime - K_W05 W3: knows basics and characterizes problems of economic crime control especially in area of criminal law - K_W07

U1: has the ability to use legal norms in order to solve specific problems - K_U02 U2: can present in English his personal opinion on specific problems of criminal law as a tool for economic crime control - K_U10
