Assessment methods:
- Final written paper - W1, W2, W3, U1, U3, K2
or alternatively
Giving a speech at the simulation of arbitral proceedings – U1, U2, W1, W2,W3, K2
- Solving tasks on moodle platform – W2,W3, U1, U3, K1
- Solving quizzes on line and at the class – W2, W3, U3, K1
- Activity in discussion at the class - K1, K2, U1, U3
Assessment criteria:
1. Students can obtain 50 points for their written final task which will be allocated basing on paper’s material correctness, completeness and fulfillment of formal requirement. Alternatively, they may choose to perform a presentation relating to a given legal problem at a simulation of arbitral proceedings, playing a role of a counsel in a commercial dispute.
2. Additionally, their final grade will depend: (a) on accuracy of their answers to 1 task delivered at moodle in the course of the class (30 points in max.); (b) performance at solving quizzes in in the course of the class (10 points in max.); (c) activity at the class during discussion and other activities (10 points in max.)
Fail – 0-50 pts (50% and less)
satisfactory- 51-60 pts (51%-60%)
satisfactory plus- 61-70 pts (61-70%)
good – 71-80 pts (71-80%)
good plus- 81-90 pts (81-90%)
very good- 91-100 pts (91-100%)
