Comparative Criminal Procedure 1300-CRI_PRO-KPP
The main aim of the course is to give students basic information about criminal procedures in different legal systems. The following systems are analyzed: Polish, continental, English, American and Islamic. The aspects considered are first of all mode of trial, the position of authorities and parties, evidence, coercive measures, plea bargaining.
Beside that the course is intended to developed some skills such as using legal terms, searching for information on the Internet and preparing presentations with Power Point.
