(in Polish) Wykład ogólnowydziałowy (Polska wczesnopiastowska II) 1202-WOW24-S1
We will discuss the state of written sources, their interpretations, and the influence of historians' concepts on the general conclusions drawn in archaeological studies.
We will examine Poland’s situation after World War II and the intellectual contribution of Polish scholars to the Stalinist vision of a new division of Europe.
Due attention will also be paid to the contributions made by the scholars being honored to the development of research in this field.
Naturally, we will also address accounts such as those of Ibrahim ibn Yaqub and the *Dagome iudex* document, tracing the absurdities and nonsense that underpin the modern understanding of Poland’s origins.
