Student:
- has basic knowledge of political history of the Later Roman Empire from 284 A.D. to 641 A.D., K_W 01, K_W 04, K_W 05
- possesses knowledge about modes of running Roman external policy in this period K_W 01, K_W 04,
- is familiar with basic knowledge about changes in the structure of the Roman society and state in that period K_W 11; K_W 12
Learning outcomes - skills
Student
- is able to enumerate the dynasties reigning in the undivided Roman Empire and in Western and Eastern Empires and is familiar with the most important Roman Emperors from 284 A.D. to 641 A.D. K_U 01
-is able to explain why Western Empire fell in the 5th century a.d.K_U02, K_U 04
- has basic skills in enumerating the ideal virtues of the Emperor K_U 01
- is capable of explaining the changes in the administrative structure and officialdom of the Empire which occurred in late Antiquity K_U 02
-acquires knowledge in systematic and organized form under the guidance of supervisor with the use of information technology K_U 01
- formulates arguments and is able to discuss using opinions of different authors of historical monographs K_U04, K_U09, K_U10
