(in Polish) Contact hours with teacher:
– participation in discussion seminar – 15 hrs;

– preparation for discussion seminar – 15 hrs;
– preparation to presentations for seminar – 15 hrs;

– reading literature – 10 hrs.

Learning outcomes - knowledge
(in Polish) Student:
– W1: knows the history of violence, hunting and ritual in the Stone Age;
– W2: knows the terminology used to describe various topics related to life in the Stone Age;
– W3: have basic knowledge about a chosen topic on violence, hunting and ritual in the prehistory;
– W4: understands the importance of the archaeological research on the Stone Age;
– W5: have a basic knowledge about the development of data about violence and hunting in prehistory.
Learning outcomes - skills
(in Polish) Student:
– U1: knows how to independently acquire knowledge and develop research skills by following the instructions tutor;
– U2: characterized the concept of violence, hunting and ritual in the Stone Age;
– U3: describes the basic development of data about violence and hunting in prehistory;
– U4: describes the most interesting archaeological sites related to the topic;
– U5: can independently acquire information and develop a research workshop under the guidance of a tutor;
– U6: know how to use basic information technology, multimedia and Internet resources;
– U7: is able to characterise chosen sites and artefacts related to violence, hunting and ritual in prehistory;
– U8: can prepare a long speech on issues related to violence, hunting and ritual in prehistory.
Learning outcomes - social competencies
(in Polish) Student:
– K1: understand necessity of further learning;
– K2: knows the level of their knowledge and understands the need to continue to learn and expand their skills in the field of prehistory and archaeology;
– K3: has awareness of uniqueness of Stone Ages artifacts and necessity of preservation of cultural heritage.
Teaching methods
(in Polish) Expository teaching methods:
– discussion seminar assisted with multimedia presentations; introduction to each topic by a lecture.
