(in Polish) Contact hours with teacher:
– participation in discussion seminar – 15 hrs;

– preparation for discussion seminar – 15 hrs;

Learning outcomes - knowledge
(in Polish) Student:
– W1: has basic/advanced knowledge of maritime activity in prehistory;
– W2: knows/possesses knowledge of archaeological evidence for seafaring in the Bronze Age and the Iron Age;
– W3: is familiar with the most important archaeological sites for reconstruction of seafaring and maritime contacts.
Learning outcomes - skills
(in Polish) Student:
– U1: is able to analyse maritime activities in the Bronze Age and the Iron Age;
– U2: can analyse archaeological evidence important for reconstruction prehistoric seafaring and maritime contacts.

– K1: is aware of responsibility for protection of underwater heritage;
– K2: understands the need for European cooperation;
– K3: is sensitive for social cooperation;
– K4: identifies/ accepts/ recognizes value of heritage.
Teaching methods
(in Polish) Expository teaching methods:
– discussion seminar assisted with multimedia presentations; introduction to each topic by a short lecture.
