Contact hours with teacher:
– participation in laboratory – 15 hrs;
– consultations – 10 hrs
Self-study hours:
– preparation for laboratory in the field of textbook knowledge that will enable the execution of tasks and laboratory practice – 25 hrs;
– writing essay and preparation for presentatiom – 30 hrs;
– reading literature – 10 hrs.

Learning outcomes - knowledge
Student:
– W1: has a structured and in-depth knowledge of environmental archaeology (bioarchaeology) (K_W04);
– W2: has knowledge of botanical sources, methods of their study and interpretation (K_W17);
– W3: characterizes the importance of botanical sources in learning about human culture and economy (K_W18).
Learning outcomes - skills
Student:
– U1: knows how to search, analyze, evaluate, select and use information using a variety of sources and methods (K_U01);
– U2: analyzes sources and literature from the field of bioarchaeology (K_U02);
– U3: applies techniques and research tools in the fields of science and scientific disciplines specific to bioarchaeology (K_U15).
Learning outcomes - social competencies
Student:
– K1: is able to adequately determine priorities to achieve the issues (K_K01);
– K2: demonstrates autonomy and independence in formulating views (K_K05);
– K3: understands the role of the humanities and environmental sciences for the formation of social relations at the local and supra-local level (K_K06).
