(in Polish) Human impact on the past environment on the basis of palaeobotany and pollen analysis 1201-OG-EN-HIPPA
– The role and the use of wild growing plants by hunter-gatherer and agricultural populations communities.
– Macroscopic plant remains, pollen, spores, and other fossils as a source of information on the palaeoenvironment (climate, vegetation history) and in the process of domestication of plants.
In the study of pollen morphological features, in addition to a microscope, the comparative collection of modern plants and the digital photo database will be used. Attention will also be paid to degradation mechanisms and processes affecting preservation of palaeobotanical material in archaeological contexts.
