In terms of knowledge - getting to know and understanding the functioning of the business meetings market/meetings industry in the social and economic context and the prospects for the development of the meetings industry in Poland and in the world.
In terms of skills - acquiring basic skills in planning and programming (constructing) an offer within selected forms of the meetings industry.
In the field of social competences - recognizing and skillfully solving problems related to the performance of selected professional tasks related to the meetings industry.
Total student workload
Total number of working hours of the student(s) related to the achievement of learning outcomes: 75 hours.
30 hours contact (lectures, exercises)
25 hours – studying literature, Internet sources, preparing for classes

Learning outcomes - knowledge
W1 - Knows and understands to an advanced degree the basic economic, sociological and organizational determinants of phenomena related to tourism and recreation, as well as selected detailed issues in the field of sectors included in tourism and recreation, with particular emphasis on the meetings industry.
W2 - Has an advanced knowledge and understanding of the dependencies in the tourism economy, local, national and international conditions of professional activity in tourism and recreation, including the meetings industry, and the most important development trends in this area.
W3 - Knows the general principles of creating and developing forms of individual entrepreneurship, taking into account the specificity of tourism and recreation, including the meetings industry; has advanced knowledge necessary to run his own business in the field of tourism and recreation and the meetings industry.
Learning outcomes - skills
U1 - Can use his knowledge in solving problems related to professional work in tourism and recreation and companies dealing with the meetings industry; is able to monitor changes in the socio-economic environment and take them into account when planning long-term activities on the market

K1 - Is ready to lead the subordinate team, inspire actions and take responsibility for the actions taken
