Basic terminology in mathematical statistics. A concept of probability. Random variables – discrete and continuous. Theoretical distributions of random variables – Gauss, t-Student, chi-squared and F distributions. Techniques of random sampling. Theory of statistical inference. Interval estimation of parameters. Hypotheses testing. Statistical measure of codependence.

A definition of probability, Conditional probability. Random variable, distributions of random variables. Binominal and Poisson distributions in economic applications. A probability in Gauss distribution. Interval estimation of parameters, Parametric and non-parametric hypotheses testing. Hypotheses testing and codependence analysis.
