I. Analysis of the legal foundations of the international economy (term and evolution of international economic law, globalization perspective).
II. Actors and sources of international law.
III. Fundamental principles of international economic law, especially in international finance, investments and trade.
IV. Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property.
Tutorials:
I. Legal implications of the changing roles of international economic institutions in both global and regional contexts. The role international institutions and its law – influence on national law systems. Role of mega-regional-agreements.
II. Selected issues of public and private international law of finance, investments and trade.
III. Institutional structure of international economic law, especially in international finance, investments and trade.
IV. Current challenges for legislators on the international level (EU AI Act, etc.)

Lecture – written exam (3-5 questions to describe, evaluation according to the score obtained: 15-14,5 pts – very good; 14 -13,5 pts. – good plus; 13-12,5 pts – good; 12-11,5 pts – satisfactory plus, 11-10 pts – satisfactory, less than 10 pts – fail)
or
written essay on selected topic (according to detailed instruction)
Tutorials - 2 assessments (problem solving/case studies) and final presentation. on a given topic prepared in pairs/groups (upgrading is possible due to activity during classes)
