The course includes subjects as follows:

2. Financial market – functioning, structure, components
3. Financial institutions – classifications and types
4. Investors on financial market
5. Household finance – general aspects
6. Ethic in finance
7. Socially responsible investing
8. The new trends on financial market

Total student workload

Contact hours with teacher: - participation in lectures – 15 hrs - participation in exercises – 15 hrs - consultations – 5 hrs Self-study hours: - preparation for lectures – 10 hrs - preparation for exercises (writing essays/ projects, preparing presentations, and doing other types of homework) – 20 hrs - reading literature – 10 hrs - preparation for examination – 25 hrs Altogether: 100 hrs (4 ECTS)
