Intercultural communication is an interdisciplinary field of study that responds to the specificity and challenges of the modern world as well as the multifaceted and dynamic situation in the field of intercultural relations. More and more companies have their branches in different countries of the world, which means that they employ employees from different cultural circles. The ease of traveling freely and taking up work in different regions of the world requires young people to be aware and to increase their knowledge of cultural differences. That is why it is so important today to educate specialists with comprehensive cultural knowledge, which, however, should be supplemented with knowledge about communication processes and appropriate communication skills.

Learning outcomes - knowledge

W1 - Knows and understands the basic concepts and principles of law, including the protection of industrial property and copyright, as well as selected detailed legal solutions relating to intercultural communication in business to an advanced degree. W2 - Knows and understands at an advanced level theories and concepts in the field of physical culture sciences, directly related to the practical application of knowledge in this area in relation to intercultural communication in business.

U1 - Can properly use methods, modern technologies, procedures and tools, including information and communication techniques in activities related to intercultural communication.
