The exercises are devoted to the following issues:
1. Text processing
- Basic editor functions - writing and formatting text,
defining the paragraph format, creating multi-level lists, page numbering, margins change and page layout, inserting headers and footers, checking spelling in the document
- Advanced editor functions - creating tables, joining text with graphics, footnotes and cross-references, multi-column page layout. editing of mathematic equations and formulas, using templates and editing scripts for mail merge
- Working with long documents - the use of divisions into sections in a document, creating and modifying text styles, creating tables of contents, tables and figures, creating indexes

2. Using a spreadsheet
- Entering data and editing calculation formulas,
the use of relative, absolute and mixed addresses
for data cells, copying and moving ranges
- Using the software library functions (mathematical,
statistical, logical, array formulas and search function)
- Creating charts and their formatting, trend lines
- Task automation

3. Managerial and presentation graphics
- Creating presentations with common slide layouts
- Defining your own slide templates, using
templates
- Preparing professional presentations

U1: Calculates synthetic characteristics of data sets with the use of filtering functions and mechanisms, subtotals and pivot tables - K_U04 U2: Plans and prepares spreadsheets for solving problems in various fields - K_U05 U3: Defines correctly the structure of a text document in a word processor. - K_U08 U4: Creates presentations with the correct structure and content. It actively uses the resources of the Internet, using various technologies. - K_U10 U5: Demonstrates openness to work in a team in terms of performing various functions - K_U13

Teaching methods

Individual work of students with the use of hardware and system and application software in a computer laboratory. Implementation of scenarios including problem-solving in spreadsheets, databases and word processors.
