Introduction to Multitasking Computer Systems 1000-I1WprSysW
System organization:
- File system - creating, deleting, copying, encrypting, archiving files. Access rights. File information.
- Processes and their features. Process tool.
- Environment variables, startup and user configuration files.
- Use of basic system services.
Elements of computer networks:
- Local and remote sessions.
- Addressing, network addresses.
- Tunneling of connections
System security:
- Information exchange using symmetric and public key encryption
- Electronic signature
System Advanced User:
- Regular expressions and text file analysis.
- Data processing methods with sed and awk.
- Elements of shell programming - scripts.

W1: Knows the general scheme of the construction and organization of the operating system (K_W02, K_W06)

Assessment criteria
Passing laboratories on the basis of tests (2 tests) and homework. Very good grade (grade 5) requires the ability to write shell scripts, awk, sed.
The final grade for the subject is the grade obtained for passing the laboratory.
