Master Proseminar 0800-PROSMGR
Each student attending the proseminar prepares and presents two speeches on issues of the field she/he studies and of her/his graduation work. Each speech must be assisted by a slide show presentation.
In addition to the competence level special attention is paid to:
1) formal construction of the speech,
2) proper preparation of slides,
3) meaningful and incisive conclusions,
4) time frames,
5) ability to attract and maintain attention of the audience.
Each speech is followed by a discussion, which is another important element of the proseminar. The discussion concerns
1) content-related problems and then
2) technical aspects of the presentation.

Assessment criteria
To get a credit the student is obliged to prepare and present two seminar presentations. The slide presentation file must be delivered to the teacher.
An evaluation is made concerning the elements mentioned in "Full description" section, student's discussion activity and meeting deadlines.
The assessment of speeches and presentations verifies W1, U1, U2, U3, U4, K1, K2, K3, K4 learning outcomes.
The assessment of student's contributions to discussions verifies U3, K1 and K2 learning outcomes.

The literature is specific to the subjects of particular students. It is chosen with assistance of their supervisors.
