Learning outcomes - knowledge
K_W01, K_W02, KW_06: possesses elementarty knowledge of information theory, applicable in the formulation and solution of practical problems connected with coding, tramsmission, compression and ciphering of data. Knows theoretical limits on the effectiveness of transmission and compression of data. Knows basic methods and algorithms used in the applications mentioned above.

K_U01, k_U02, K_U03, K_U17: Has skills to use the theoretical knowledge in the the construction and analysis of systems of transmission, compression or ciphering of data, knows particular methods used in the applications mentoioned above, is able to assess their effectiveness in concrete situations.
