Technology of natural medicines 0600-S2-CM-TLN
During lectures and laboratory classes, the following topics will be discussed:
Possibilities of using herbs in modern medicine, methods of obtaining plant raw materials, structure and action of important groups of active compounds and their occurrence in plant raw materials, pharmacological action and possible possibilities of occurrence of undesirable effects as a result of using some plant raw materials, plant raw materials and preparations used for selected ailments and diseases and possibilities of treatment with natural methods using apitherapy and aromatherapy, theoretical foundations of extraction, membrane and separation processes of active substances, obtaining active substances from selected plant materials using various techniques, skills in preparation of syrups, tinctures, extracts, decoctions and infusions, ointments, tablets. Freeze-drying process.
