Quality management systems 0600-S2-CM-SZJ
The lecture on the subject of Quality Management Systems aims to convey the main assumptions and introduce the terminology regarding the Quality Management System (including quality, principles of quality management - "quality pillars", process, total quality management (TQM), procedure, etc.). The student will become familiar with the requirements regarding the competences of research laboratories in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 standard and the requirements for establishing and documenting and maintaining 6 main procedures in accordance with the PN-EN ISO 9001:2015 standard. The goals and role of the Quality Management system in a forensic laboratory will also be discussed in detail. In addition, the principles of quality management, improvement of quality policy and its impact on increasing the efficiency of the forensic laboratory will be presented.
Classes in the subject of Quality Management System are devoted to practical aspects with the introduction and improvement of the quality policy in a research laboratory, mainly a crime laboratory. The student will learn in detail with the requirements of the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 standard - discussion of the requirements for proper management as and technical competences (including premises conditions and environmental, test methods and procedures and their validation, ensuring measurement consistency, etc.) regarding tests performed in the research laboratory.
