The lecture will focus on the following topics:
- overview of the types of packaging materials used for medical materials, their advantages and disadvantages - overview of the requirements for the use of materials for the production of medical packaging.
-explaining the role and functions of packaging
- discussion of the methods of sterilization of packaging materials
- an overview of the production of packaging materials in medicine by means of extrusion.
- explanation of how to handle used packaging materials
- receiving bottles for pharmaceuticals
-the receipt and characteristics of tablet blisters
Laboratory:
- seal strength test in medical packaging
- analysis and comparison of the colors of packaging materials
- tests of the free contractility of foil materials used in the protection of pharmaceuticals
-analysis of changes in the surface energy of packaging films under the influence of corona discharges
- bag strength assessment with free fall
- receiving blisters and containers by thermoforming
-- analysis of water vapor permeability of packaging materials
- preparation of the final presentation
