Lecture:
History of cosmetics. Basic nomenclature of cosmetic ingredients. Skin and hair care. Group of cosmetics: personal care, decorative and fragrances. Basic cosmetic formulations. Cosmetic regulations and safety .
Laboratory:
Preparation os solutions of surface active agents, rheology modification.
Preparation and optimisation of emulsion oil in water and water in oil.
Preparation and optimisation of sticks.
Microscopic observations of cosmetic formulations.
Testing of cosmetic action on the skin.
